BENEFITS OF VIRTUAL CARE

Let’s face it, a doctor’s appointment is usually an ordeal. You must block out multiple hours out of your day and endure long wait times in exchange for 5 to 10 minutes of face time with your doctor, at best.

With a virtual visit, you eliminate all of those headaches. Which means a whole lot less wasted time, and more time with your doctor.

WHAT YOU NEED

All you need for a virtual visit is a smartphone (iphone, Android, etc.). or desktop computer.

HOW IT WORKS

If you are in the state of Georgia and would like to schedule a visit now, here’s what to do next:

STEP 1: Click the scheduling link below.

STEP 2: Choose your appointment time.

STEP 3: Fill out the form (including insurance information).

STEP 4: After completing your information (and on the day of your visit), you’ll receive a link via email or text. Click it, and you will be transported directly to Dr. Turknett’s virtual waiting room. If you have a copay, it will be collected at the first visit.

So it’s just like a regular clinic visit, minus the long wait, the stacks of outdated magazines, and the cheesy music!

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS

Q: What forms of insurance do you take?

A: We take Medicare, as well as most other forms of private insurance.

Q: What if I can’t make one of the available appointment times?

A: Another advantage of virtual visits is flexible scheduling, including the ability to conduct visits in non-traditional working hours. If the available scheduling times do not work, contact us and let us know what times work best for you.

Q: What if I’m not a resident of Georgia?

A: If you are out-of-state, Dr. Turknett can consult with you in a coaching capacity, but cannot function as your doctor (including medication prescribing). To learn more about virtual coaching for either migraine or memory care, just click on the links to learn more about those respective programs.

Q: What if I need to be seen in person?

A: Should the need arise for an in person assessment, these can be accomplished, and will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
